CLASS 5 HAIR LOSS
Moderate to Severe recession of the front (Zone 1) and temporal (Zone 2) regions of the hairline.
Sparse or no hair on the vertex/crown (Zone 6).
The two areas of hair loss are separated by a band (Zone 4 & 5) of moderately dense hair that extends across the top. This band connects with the fully haired fringe on the sides of the scalp
In this scenario, patients may be more concerned about their Frontal Hairline, their Crown, or Both.
approximately 1500 - 2000 grafts for Frontal Hairline only ($6,375 - $8,500)
approximately 1000 - 1500 grafts to include the Crown area ($4,250 - $6,375)
THINGS TO CONSIDER
If you had to devote more of your donor hair supply to either the Frontal Hairline or the Crown, it is advisable to place more emphasis on the Frontal Hairline as this will aesthetically have more impact.
Over time, the crown may slowly expands particular backwards. This should be taken into account if you desire to have your entire crown filled-in.
